Could someone please explain to me what the error codes in this log are telling me, and what do do to fix it.

Thank you

Hi Elmo313,
First question - Do you have MSTS installed?
if not, you've no chance, but if you have, second question - have you run the batch file (copy_ts_files.bat)?

Timesaver requires all 6 default routes to be present - see the readme!

Cheers,
Ged

MSTS was installed when I ran the batch file. Downloaded and installed UStrack as per readme.

Hi Elmo313,
Sorry, mate, I should have phrased my question in a better way!

Have you installed the Timesaver route into the same installation as the 6 default routes?

You didn't answer my question regarding running the batch file - you need to keep a very careful eye on the black "DOS Box" while it's running, looking for "0 file/s Copied" messages. If you get any, it means that at least some default files can't be found.

With respect, I see no mention of 'USTrack' in the readme. I have just installed the route, and it runs successfully in Open Rails. One point to note is that OR will crash if you try to run Explore with ANY old consist because most are too long! Either use one of the two activities or Explore with consists TS - Local 1 or TS - Local 2 or TS - GP38+3cars.

Cheers,
Ged

As one of the beta testers for the Timesaver by Ron Paludan, I can agree with Ged, there are no US track sections used in the route.

If the readme says to download USTrack, where did you get the route from?

EDIT: OK, I forgot that there is an upgraded version of the route here. Will investigate the problem.

OK. In addition to the files mentioned in the readme, you will also need USBuffer1.rar and US3_Tuns.rar. For some reason the route then fails on the carspawner which is the same one used in the original which does not fail. So, install those two extra files and move the carspawn file out of the route folder and it will start.
