MSTS is 20 years old now isn't it? Pretty good record for a program that Microsoft abandoned. Oversight perhaps?

Hi Frank,
sorry for the late comment, just saw this thread right now.
Would you mind giving me some details on or even a more close-up view of the concrete building at the left in your first scene?
It seems to be used as a stand-in for some sort of warehouse or factory building, but I have a very strong feeling that this could actually be a station building itself - namely, a model of the central station in my hometown, "stolen" from a route that actually depicts my area. ;)
Here it is in it's "natural habitat":

Here it is in the route (screenshot taken with Open Rails, though, as MSTS won't run on this Win8 installation):
The route is Leoben And Surroundings, available from TS.com if you search for exactly that name. The location can be explored virtually in Google Streetview as well.
Cheers, Markus

It should probably be understood that using the word "stolen" assumes that this is part of some route that is being shared with the public versus being employed for personal use. It is very likely that this is a personal use scenario and saying "stolen" is a bit harsh when someone just shares a screenshot.

That building was in the PRR-East at the west end of Altoona before I began the rebuild.
I have no idea where it came from, but the Credits documentation may have information.

I was not intending to insult anyone, it was intended to be understood ironically, which is why I put it under quotation marks. In fact, I consider myself the last one to assume people in this community use others' work without permission.

It's just a fun coincidence, and the only thing that made me notice it was the bright red double B. I didn't instantly recognize it, but after reading a few non-related threads, it suddenly hit me on which route I'd seen that building - and that I actually pass by the real thing almost every day. http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/blush2.gif
I just find it funny that an actual station building with lettering for a railroad company on a different continent is used as a track-side structure in PRR-East. Up-cycling, eh? http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif
