Icik,
please check and confirm this to me: if an electric locomotive is defined as flipped in the consist, it has the two animations wrongly swapped at startup. P raises the front panto (with respect to the cabview active at startup) and Shift-P raises the rear panto, while it should be the contrary.

Yes exactly. It behaves as you describe it.
If the locomotive is flipped, the rear pantograph must be raised after pressing P. The Shift + P key must raise the front pantograph.

So the error occurs also if the player locomotive is flipped at startup. However there is another case that must be considered, that is when the flipped locomotive is not the player locomotive. I must test also that case, with a consist made by two locomotives, one flipped and one not flipped.

Yes. There's two approches to building EMU/DMU trains:
1. use the model of rear wagon with cab modelled at the original rear-end (coordinates -X)
2. use flipped model, as the cab-end was modelled at the original front of the shape (+X)

Icik,
please try inserting these replacement files in OR NewYear MG rev. 73.

For twins, the rear pantograph should be selected by default for the 1st unit and the front pantograph for the 2nd unit as shown in the photo.
The selection of pantographs should be independent of both units only according to the position of the switch in the cabins.
It can be for a test from here downloaded.

Yes, Double-sectioned and articulated E-locos are even more complex puzzle.
Each of two models, I think, contain defined parts "Panto1" and "Panto2", but in game, them should act as You said (operate in different ways, depending of section, selected for driving; and each one-independent from others).

Yes Carlo, it works fine for the player's locomotive. Nice job. :)
Can you please see the AI locomotives? After crossing the reversal point, they should automatically change the pantograph to the rear. This only works after saving and reloading the game.

That's good.
I assume the AI issue is present also without my patch, isn't it? If it is so, it's another issue, that I will check and eventually correct separately.
