Thank you for your clarifications. I'll try to find out all possible superposition cases and to implement them.

This is the automatic TCS braking that I get at the end of the path of TestAWS3

The TCS_AWS_UK.cs file has last modification date 9 February 2020, 11:11. Sorry if I insist, but have you checked in the correct copy of the NWT150? (That is the one within the mep mini-route).
The script file file is included in rev. 6 of the demo pack.

Many thanks for your time continuing the AWS for realistic workings :thumbup3: .

Much appreciated. I've just set the link for rev7 of the demo pack here http://www.elvastowe...post__p__255510 , which solves the problem of the interposed signals as suggested by you. I hope I can rest now a bit :)

Many thanks again. Will I need new ORTS_Simulation files or will the current ones still work?

Just to clarify a couple of things.

1. 2-Aspect stop signal( Red/Green ) - These still have no AWS for TCB lines?

2. What parts of script can be modified by the user?

Thanks

The Orts.Simulation files (rev. 3) you have are OK.
1. They don't have AWS if they don't have a hidden dummy distance signal
2. It is suggested that a user that hasn't programming skills only modifies the settings of the .ini file (as he would do with an .eng file) and the sound file (e.g. to change bell and warning sound). A user with programming skills can of course modify also file TCS_AWS_UK.cs, at his own risk... It's a bit like modifying file sigscr.dat, but in general more complex. The parts which reside within the OR code can be modified only under Visual Studio, and require rebuilding of OR.

Ok. I was hoping to change the AWS to apply the Emergency brake for Multiple Units and to apply a time limit before the brakes start to release after a reset. I wasn't to sure what to change in the INI file. That's if it can be done by this file?

Thanks

Hi Carlo,

I am very interested in this feature, and would like to incorporate it in my next 3d cab.

Trying this out with the demo files, I get the beeper, but no change in the AWS sunflower. I am probably doing something wrong.

Geoff
