I made something like that in TSRE to place tracks, wires, fences etc. in my project, so it is not a rocket science. But it was never finished to use by others due to my health issues. And also it doesn't work in OR.

Hi Goku,

Fences too - dang...
:ko2:

Just too cool...

Regards,
Scott

Goku, Such a future for working with catenary and power lines would be a God send. If this could be worked on slowly as your health and time would allow, I think myself and many others would be most grateful. Wiring electrified routes or just putting up lots of power lines in heavy industrial areas is a time consuming burdensome job at present.

Yes, I did it mainly for custom tack shapes and catenary.

You can define wires using ruler object:

And then just select one of defiend procedural shapes. You can create the shapes using blender or any 3d software, both for "repeating mesh" and "loft mesh". My shapes are ugly, but you can see the concept:

It works also with tracks, fences etc. Just select track and choose different procedural shape. Here for example is track without ballast:

Perhaps by donating to Goku’s Paypal account.

Hi Folks,

I've got no problem contributing for effort put into moving ORTS forward - heck - I'd like to buy the guys some beer on the ORTS Development Team that go the extra mile for us - year after year - if that's all it would take...

As someone who spends the bulk of his time with Flight Sim - where everything is payware and a single aircraft could cost you $200.00 and just getting the base sim up to speed costs you between $750.00 to $1000.00 worth of add on packages - life on this side of the fence is dirt cheap...

Regards,
Scott

Don't make any donations if you are expecting that it will help with the progress.

Goku,

Wishing that you return to health soon. Would not have been able to complete my route without your contribution. Cannot thank you enough.
