At Coke Ovens, a empty boxcar is set out. This location is the site of a water tank, 24 car siding, & section house site.

The train rolls through the snowshed at Lizard Head, the highest point on the RGS.



As the train rolls downhill, it stops at Trout Lake to take on water.





The train rolls over a bridge as it rolls along the High Line above Orphir.

The train rolls over the bridge at Butterfly (this location is the site of a mill).





Soon, the train pulls into Vance Junction at 10 AM with 6 loads, 2 empties.

After switching & turning on the nearby wye, the 455 departs Vance Junction at 12:10 PM with 4 loads 7 empties.

Loads: 3 coal, & 1 merchandise.

Empties: 6 box & caboose 0404.







At Butterfly, a empty boxcar is set out at the mill.



A short time later, the train rolls through Orphir.

The train climbs the hill to Lizard Head.



The engine takes on water at Trout Lake.

The train soon passes the spur at Gallagher.

The train passes the Timber spur. A sawmill was located here from 1928 to 1943. The spur can hold 15 cars.





After a while, the train pulls into Rico at 4:10 PM with 4 loads, 6 empties.
