a flag had been introduced to define visibility conditions of static freight anims.
After an exchange of ideas with James I've decided to provide more options to define static freight anims visibility.
So, if no specific parameter is defined, freight anims are not seen if the active camera is a 2D cab or a 3D cab camera of the locomotive where the freight anim resides, and are seen in all other cases.
The specific parameter will no more be Cab3DFreightAnim. Instead it will be
			Visibility ( "Outside,Cab3D,Cab2D" )

, where any (or two) of the strings Outside, Cab3D or Cab2D may be not present.
The meaning is intuitive: if the substring Cab3D is present, the static freight anim will be seen (also) from within the 3D cab of the locomotive where the freight anim resides; if the substring Cab2D is present, the static freight anim will be seen (also) from within the 2D cab of the locomotive where the freight anim resides; if the substring Outside is present, the static freight anim will be seen (also) from the outside cameras attached to the locomotive where the freight anim resides, as well as from any camera attached to other cars or locomotives.
It is foreseen that the feature (that I have alredy developed) will be first introduced in the OR NewYear MG version and, after community testing) in the official OR version.

In version 1.3.1 that I just installed, I noticed that the Visibility function is not working properly. I cannot see a freight animation in my 3d cab, although it is visible in the exterior view.
In the monogame version and the testing version, the visibilty is correct and I can see the freight animation in the 3dcab.

Is this a known bug?

Hi Geoff,

If you look closely, the download of version 1.3.1 is dated 2018-DEC-18, while this feature has been introduced in July 2019 (see post dates above). IDK what was present of this feature before the updates posted above, but it it likely to be significantly different and less encompassing. Thus, the feature as you are trying to use it can currently only be found in the testing and unstable releases.

Cheers, Markus

Thanks Markus,
I had thought that there was a new stable version since then. My mistake.
