One thing that has bothered me for a while is how bright night is in most games, and OR is definitely not an exception. It feels like extended twilight. Is there any way we can get an ambient night brightness option, like the daylight option we already have? Or is there something that I can edit so that I can tune the ambient light at night to my liking? I've got an example here:

What it looks like:

What it should look like:

I get that night is probably dark enough on a CRT, but how many of us are actually using CRTs in this day and age?

Food for thought.

You have the moon and all the stars that give off light that God made. The night isn't black. http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

Maybe so, but it's not as bright as it is in OR by any means, even under a full moon. Bear in mind my shot was taken with overcast skies. As it stands, OR is about as bright under these conditions as real life is during the late afternoon when a supercell is lingering overhead. I say this as someone who walks home from work every night... and has been under many a supercell.
