Hello,
May I ask if this is working or not? Some of the above thread reads as though it has been implemented. The latest version of the OR Manual, October 2019, has no mention of it.
If by chance it is working, then please could someone explain how to include in eng and cvf files, including the use of a circular speed setter control in the cab view.
If it is not working yet, well I shall be patient till it is. I am just happy that there are many people working on many things at the moment.

Hello everyone!
I think that this is one of the most interesting features that OpenRails needs.
Are there some news from the development team about the automatic speed regulator?!

Thanks.

It will depend on the degree of cooperation between the author and the developers.
It should be noted - mutual cooperation.

I what I don't understand is that if it was already possible to implement this much needed in 2018, there are still no clear instructions to do so.

The only explanation is that it doesn't work well...

Hello.

It worked very well, I also used the version for a long time, I converted several vehicles. I just didn't have that set of instructions for it
with an explanation like what Carlo made.

Sincerely, Laci1959

Thank you Laci1959.

I'm already implementing it on some of my trains under development, but for now I'm having problems with diesel locomotives. I am looking for examples, if they exist.

Specifically my problem is that the locomotive does not acquire any power, let's see if I can solve it. Also, the elements in the cab called ORTS_CC_SPEED_0, _30, _90, _180 etc have problems, only one works. Maybe it is because they are too close together?

The .log file does not indicate any errors.

I'm still looking...
