If there is no TRProfile.stf for the NG track and superelevation is used OR will draw the track using the default TRProfile.stf which is standard gauge. The manual deals with this and directs the reader to a file in the Documentation folder about how to create the stf file.

So, I followed the instructions given by copperpen (thanks again!) and - wow! - it works fine!
If someone is interested, I include track profile file for 3ft narrow gauge (see attachment).
