Robbins Sawmill

Typical medium sized steam powered sawmill found throughout the US and Canada between 1880 and 1940. These mills were run on a long axis open track plan that pulled the logs from the log poind up a ramp to the saw, planer, and other machinery. The machinery was powered by belt drives from the steam engine and by compressed air from the compressor also driven by the steam power.

this mill has a detailed interior that depicts the typical arrangement found in such mills.

Useful for any route from that era.
