I have been contacted, through the Open Rails website, by an Italian engineer - Franco Capanna. He provided his CV which shows a professional who has reached some very senior posts and is now pursuing an interest in innovation.

He is looking for someone to help him illustrate his ideas for increasing safety on the railways by a driverless "forerunner" vehicle (see image) that warns a train of trouble ahead. To promote the idea, he needs simulation of the problem and his solution. He writes "In principle I well understand that despite train simulator is an hobby, the needed expertise and work for building this video simulator should be paid in some way."
