It's not just the boxcabs that this happens to, and it's not exclusive to this route. This also happens with the steam heating invis-wagon on TS which was made with the MILW RMD-East in mind. Once again, when you switch to the wagon in front of it, the jiggle goes away. It also happens with something else that I had, but I can't remember what it was.

Do these devices that are attached at end of train that mimic a wag, what do you set mass to?
Thinking if set low mass would be more prone to jiggle. Also coupler values?
regards,
vince

The jiggle on an invisible wag such as a headboard or a fred is usually caused by the size being less than the coupling spring play.
The coupling tries to streach to it's normal length but is squeezed in by the size constraint.

Check the coupling values on the offending vehicle.

The invisible wagon has size values of:
Size ( 1m 1m 0.7m )

All three of those values are at least 3X larger than any number in the R0() parameter.

I have taken the invisible wag out of the consist and can see no visible difference in OR. In fact, I do not even know what the purpose of these is within the locomotive consists.

It ensures a reasonable distance between two units. As to why it is needed I cannot guess.

I can see no difference in the unit spacing in OR with or without that shape. In fact, if you inspect it in SFM, it is several meters underground.

Maybe it adds some particular sound?

There are certainly some mysterious properties of the extra .wag parts of the Milw_EF-2_E47. (EDITED) The recommended sample consist goes into emergency rather easily when train braking is applied. Does anyone have mods to the eng/wag properties to help this?
The parts used in the Milw_EF4_LittleJoe make some sense- they are .eng parts.
