I sometimes stumble over the Take another exit function -- I forget you have to go one track past the switch before it will appear in your context specific list. I dunno but the same may be true of the Place reverse point function too.

No that is not the problem. It is a very unusual situation. I have not been able to add reversal points today and most of yesterday. A short while ago I was able to add them at an area I have being using as a test location. Now I cannot add them there (or anywhere) again. They just do not appear in the pop-up menu.

I did the following:
Created a new path, RPs can be placed in the first section
Chose "take other exit" at the first point/switch - no problem - RPs can still be selected
Ran through a trailing point/switch
Hit Page up
A RP cannot be added in the track after the trailing point/switch
"take other exit" can be chosen at the next point/switch and RP is active
I see that the blue selection circle is not present when I select location in the track section where I cannot place a reverse point.

I know this was an old topic, but was anything solved?
The reason being, that I had created a path using track viewer. No problem doing this. All worked as expected.
Whist doing a timetable I needed to alter the path to take in another station. However, after loading the path and then selecting edit path I am unable to get take other exit to show at the set of points I need to use. I have tried ending the path before the points, removing the end point and taking the path past the points but no alternative exit is available. If I start a new path further down the line and draw the path and get to the points in question, then I can select the other exit. It just seems to be with the path editing.
Anyone any idea besides redoing the whole path?
Thanks
Peter
Just to add that I have remade the path from the start and it allowed me to take the exit into the station. Must be something to do with editing that caused the problem.
