I'm going to guess that something has gotten itself in to a loop in here. :(

Unfortunately, I don't have the route in question, but may have a look at the code if I get a moment.

James,

If you would like me to recreate the error on Marias Pass...I will....except it would be best that you use your own rolling stock as I never use any of the default rolling stock from MSTS.

Thank you for your time and effort,

Steve

...BUT, judging by what I see I think you have taken the watchdog timer code out of these special compilations...is that correct?
If that is so, I am sure it will help with this bug :

I will test your executables against the bug mentioned above, it may solve the problem I have been having..I will see.

Molto gracie,
Steve

Yes, it's a version with the watchdog made ineffective. I thought this was a problem due to high execution time, but apparently it's a real endless loop.

I had a similar issue in Maple Leaf Tracks GTA route.

Try starting the route at a different time, one of your paths is at fault.

Mine would work correctly up until a certain path and then it would crash gameplay only if path debugging was initiated.

Once path was identified I removed the train and it was fine, it was an issue with the track design in my case within the route, look for incomplete crossovers or hazzard items causing issues.

Given that the problem is likely to be a train's path or the track-work, I'll just substitute whatever rolling stock I have but it would be nice if I didn't have to. :)

I'm having similar crashes with Ctl-Alt-F11 with the NEC4 route, but only in activities, and only if there is traffic. I have not been able to come up with a simple test case that would help the diagnosis, however.

Cheers,

Any activity in a route that can be downloaded (or in-box) is good, as long as we can get the set-up needed we should be able to reproduce the problem if we know where to look. :)

I am attaching a .zip for the bug with the NEC V4 route: contains the ORTS Log, the activity in .apk form, and some notes:

Attached File  NEC4_Ctl_Alt.zip (16.19K)
Number of downloads: 291
