File Category: Buildings

The Waldorf Mill. One of many buildings located along the Argentine Central Railroad which is a short line of the Colorado & Southern Railroad located in Colorado.
The Waldorf Mill is located in the center of Waldorf, Colorado. Information for the model has been gathered from “Stairway To The Stars,” By Dan Abbott.
This model is a best guess and information and photos of the mill have been quite limited.
If you known something that we do not about this structure or anything else related to the Argentine Central Railroad please do share it with us.

Source model is included.

Made in Sketchup 8.

NOTE: This is a very high poly model. (9,912 polygons) Though tests in MSTS encountered no issues, the authors suggest (BUT NOT REQUIRED) using Open Rails for better results.

****NOTE!!!**** Some users may experience texture issues if run in MSTS with settings above default. Also, low end computers as well as graphics cards may cause conflicts.

Special thanks to Brian Kistner for input on the textures and for cleaning up the overall model, and Chris Gerlach for permission to use some of his textures****

Model has been tested in both MSTS & Open Rails with no issues on the authors computers.

How to install:

1. Unzip the file folder.

2. Copy the shapes folder and the textures folder into the route of your choice.

3. Copy the REF doc into the routes REF file. Model's class is “Sketchup".

This model is freeware and MAY NOT be used for commercial ventures.

Repainting is permitted. PLEASE credit the authors if repaint is uploaded. The layout of the ACE files is different than the typical format to make repainting easier on the user.
