It's under the original MSTS engine parameters between sanding and cabview ie

 MaxContinuousForce ( 245kN )
 MaxCurrent ( 5000A )
 WheelRadius ( 46.743856in )

 RunUpTimeToMaxForce ( 30.0 )
 Sanding ( 0.1mph )

  ORTSWheelSlipCausesThrottleDown( 1 )
  ORTSContinuousForceTimeFactor ( 1800 )
       ORTSTractionCharacteristics ( 15 5

Thanks

I think Matej coded that and far as I am aware he is busy in the real world right now. He may pop in and see this and give a definitive answer. Until then all we have is the manual.

ORTSContinuousForceTimeFactor ( 1800 )
I know for sure works an use it with a lower rating for my DC motors an a very high in time for my AC motors.

Coolhand101,
after investigating the code this is the response:
ORTSWheelSlipCausesThrottleDown does not exist in the code;
ORTSEmergencyCausesThrottleDown (1) should work when there is an EmergencyBrake or FullBrake condition.

Thanks for checking.
I'm really surprise that "ORTSWheelSlipCausesThrottleDown" is not in the code as it is stated in the OR manual.
I will have another attempt for "ORTSEmergencyCausesThrottleDown (1)". I could not get this to work before.

Intresting thread

I still cannot get the "ORTSEmergencyCausesThrottleDown (1)" to function.

Also, does the manual list all the available ORTS parameters?

I'm looking for a parameter, that will cut the power to the traction motors, once a certain air pressure is reached!

Thanks

If your meaning these MSTS settings as seen in the Acela I have not seen them implemented yet but will use to protect some of my DC locomotives when it's available.

DoesBrakeCutPower( 1 )
BrakeCutsPowerAtBrakeCylinderPressure( 15 )
