Sir,

Is there any provision for automatic detachment of a loco and reversal of loco and attachment of the same loco to the other side of the train in AI mode as it does in player mode.

You should be able to do this with the special (un-)coupling waiting points available in ORTS. They are explained in the manual, and there are explanations and tutorial-scenarios (using default content) here on the forum. Use the search tool to locate the stuff on the forums. You will want to limit the search to posts by Carlo (csantucci), who created those features in ORTS and also the tutorials.
