When driving along a MSTS route (explore or timetable mode) on a certain location Open Rails crashes and shows an error message concerning 'soundProcess' (as far as I understand from OpenRailsLog.txt). In MSTS there is no error on this location.
To verify that the crash is related to the sounds I have set the sound detail in the Open Rails options from 5 to 0, drive a train at the same location and now the error don't occur anymore but also not any sound is audible.
I think now that it must be a sound error in the route and not in Open Rails itself. Maybe an expert can have a look at the OpenRailsLog.txt and could advise what is wrong there?
Thanks

Open Rails crashes due to sound

The code line where the crash occurs is a bit strange. Anyhow it is related to track sound. You could check within the .ws block where you get the crash if you have a SoundRegion with a SoundregionTrackType ( ) having a number that is not present in file ttype.dat. That's only a suggestion.

Thanks for the hint to the SoundRegion. This will locate the problem. Therefore I have checked the .ws files near and within the location of the crash, but found no SoundregionTrackType that is missing in ttype.dat.
Later on today I will have a look in the MSTS Route Editor and check if there is something striking about the track sound markers.
Additionally I have again uploaded the Log.txt, but I'm afraid it is totally the same as before.

Now I opened the route in MSTS Route Editor. When moving near to the location where the crash in Open Rails has occured an error message is displayed. It declares that a sound region could not be loaded and if the object should be deleted. Unfortunately the message is not in English, however I have attached it as GIF file.
Would it be recommended to confirm and delete the object?

I have now confirmed to delete the object in the Route Editor. When driving a train in Open Rails now, no more error about this soundRegion occurs.
Therefore my problem is solved.
Thanks
