I'm sorry if this has already been addressed but I could not find it.

all of a sudden after an update of windows 8.1 I started to get the error listed below.

The steps I took to correct it was to roll back windows to before the update, uninstalled and re-installed ORTS and ran a chkdsk of the D: drive.

I fixed it. Somehow the run as administrator got unchecked. I re-checked it and up back up and running.
