Is this crosshatch shadow:

a known problem?

If not, does it require a formal bug report or is the image above enough to work from?


I see it where water is set to display, either on the surface or on land/buildings where the water is turned on but is underground at that specific location.

A formal bug is useful to make sure we don't forget it, and to make it easier to find later, but it wouldn't need anything more than the contents of your OP.

Edit: To answer your first question: It's not a known problem in so much as I don't know about these specific conditions, but I have seen and do see occasional odd splotches of shadow or no shadow around. Not seen anything quite so clear before though.

I see it quite often on or around around water. Will add it as a bug.
