If you want a normal looking sky, turn off the experimental option "MSTS environments". This is likely something unusual / unexpected in this route's environment files which that experimental option doesn't yet get right.

Hi James,
Is there a way of slowing down the rotation of the sky, it moves alone awfully quickly.
Paul :-)

No, but it should be looking and moving the same as MSTS... anything else is a bug. Not sure if anyone's working on that feature recently but details of the route and the problems compared to MSTS may spur someone.

For fans of science fiction railroading this sky is a must. I think I see a little Hawking radition leak there. :bigboss:

Thanks Guys! All is well now that we have returned from Neptune. BTW Paul, it produced great thunderheads on Dominion Atlantic.

Hi James,
It might already have been addressed, I'm still running X2319 as it's been very stable for testing the route I'm working on.... Just wondering.

The WP3 texture was plotted as a skydome, so any experimental features may expect an MSTS-like environment, and as such couldn't have been anticipated (and done before ORTS was barely a gleam in Wayne Campbell's eyes).
