I would like to know what is the equation that is used in OR for determining the approximate Variable 2 controlled value in relation to the ammeter values for electric locomotives? I know that for Variable 1 that value is proportional to the throttle control in percentage but what about about this one?
To be more precise for 500 amps is it possible to calculate a value to be used with variable 2 trigger command?

What I've found so far is that Variable 2 is obtained by dividing MotiveForceN/MaxForceN * 100F.
