Both the Kuju engine.doc, which is distributed with the MSTS CDs, and the Manual for .eng- and .wag-files of the MS Train Simulator by Rudolf Richter say that the Buffers section in the Engine files is not used by MSTS. Does OR use it?

MSTS I recall does use the buffer section that I recall my train wasn't coupling an kept bouncing off till I changed something in the buffer settings than it started to couple.

Could you please clarify your statement. Are you saying that OR does not use Buffers?

This is very interesting. Is there any more substantiation for this opinion?
