This is part 1 of train number 462 - the Silverton - with #454. The first picture is the train passing the depot with it's consist, including 1 empty tank, a combine and a refer. The second picture shows the train crossing the first bridge leaving Silverton. And the last picture is at the Elk Park bridge. I will continue this series tomorrow as the train heads towards Durango.

Here is part 2 of train number 462 - the Silverton. The train passes under the Needleton tank ( no need to stop here) in picture 1. Picture 2 shows the train passingthrough the Teft bridge. In the third picture the train passes by the Cascade tank ( no need to stop here as well ). And the last picture the train is at Tacoma, a flag stop. Soon the train will traverse the High Line and stop at Rockwood.

Part 3 of the Silverton number 462. Picture 1 is on the High bridge south of Tacoma. The rest is on the high line. Rockwood is not far off.

Nice. Wish I were there. FYI, they normally took water at Cascade Creek (now replaced by Tank Creek) going up and then at Needleton on the return trip. :bigboss:

Ps: Although not always (never say never or always when talking about narrow gauge!) they would normally run the caboose on the end of the train behind the combine.

This is part 4 of the Silverton, number 462. Picture 1 is in Rockwood for a flag stop; and the last 2 pictures is of the train descending Hermosa hill. The final part will be uploaded soon.

The final part of the Silverton: Train number 462 with K-27 #454. The first picture is at the Hermosa tank ( not in service ); the second picture is at the Hermosa bridge; the third is at the 15th street bridge; and the last picture shows the train arriving at the Durango depot. For now, this will be all of the screenshots; if you have any suggestions, please let me know so I could attempt to so the screenshots.
