I believe this has been already discussed, but I can't remember what was the outcome.
Running an activity of the MEP this evening I got on the display fake effects as shown in this picture:
It can be seen that on top of some vegetation objects there are dark horizontal segments (you need to enlarge the picture, and with the jpg compression the segments are less visible than in reality). I would assume they aren't there in MSTS or Shape Viewer. Maybe OR forgets or adds a pixel row around such shapes?

Hi Carlos,
Actually - I'm not sure of the exact science behind it - but when making a shape for MSTS - or - MSFS for that matter - a row or two of pixels wraps around from the other edge of the mapped part of texture sheet... I think modelers typically alpha out a pixel or two around the textures edges to prevent issues as you see there... I'm sure it's not known by everyone - but - that can be easily fixed with a texture edit... Actually in MSFS we have a tool to make the changes automatically... I notice they just seem to be a little more noticeable in OR than in MSTS...
Regards,
Scott

There was a discussion about this on Trainsim.com a few years ago. Strange thing was that not everyone saw these artifacts. However, Scott is correct in his analysis of the problem.

Using alpha premultiplied rendering in the future will solve this issue.
