Here it is guys. Hope I did the MILW 261 justice and I really hope everyone enjoys it once I finish the project and release it. There is still more work that needs to be done to the tender and water tender but its getting there. I am also still working on a 3D cab for the locomotive as well. I will also note that this will not be a repaint-able model as the way I have textured it has made it impossible to texture a different way.

So currently for this MILW 261 Excursion pack I have multiple models of the locomotive throughout its excursion career. The models are as followed. 1993-1996 version, 1997-1998 version, 1999-2008 version, 2013-2014 version, 2015 version and a current 2016 version. All have minor to major differences between all of the models. I will also be including a down and up coupler versions for the front coupler for every model even though most of the time the coupler is up on the locomotive unless switching or pulling a consist backwards for some reason or another. In future I do plan on making every S3 class locomotive that the Milwaukee Road had in different versions as well throughout there career. I have put much time and effort into building this model to as realistic as I possibly can as I know all the ins and outs of the locomotive personally and a very proud member of its team. The locomotive its self has a special place in my heart and hope I did it justice. This pack will also come with custom sounds from the real MILW 261 that I have recorded over the years as well and I would like to do a custom cab for it as well but not sure if I will be able too.

Just beautiful, Brandon!

My poor keyboard is getting a pretty good "drool" workout!!

Very much looking forward to her release. Great to hear that you will have actual 261 sounds for her - more drool!

Here is just a little update of my progress. The more I look at the locomotives the more I notice its like a Berk and Milwaukee Road 261 put into one locomotive.

My normal interest is UK railways but these monsters fascinate me. Are they downloadable anywhere?

Not yet as I have not released them but they will be eventually when I get done with the models.
