Hi All:
It may be only me, but I am finding that current OR versions (since before approx. X2500 ) do not always correctly restore saves of some routes. In addition there is a problem with routes that have similar (but different) route names in the .trk file. I have currently running X2615. I have two versions of the Monon route in separate miniroute installations.

Monon 16 file monon-2.trk reads: Name ( "MONON-2 The Hoosier Line" )
Monon 17 file monon-2.trk reads: Name ( "MONON-2 The Hoosier Line V 17" )

Problem 1: (EDIT :2 hours later - I made a new activity for the same path and the resume works fine! - So it may be something unique to my miniroute installation !)
After successfully running an activity in Monon-16 and saving it, if I try to resume the save, ORTS complains "Save File is incompatible with this version of Open Rails. ...
Saved Version: X2615
Current Version: X2615".
The opening data in the .save file (Ctrl-c text copy) is;

Problem 2: (A nuisance). In Explorer mode
After a save of successful runs in each route, their save files have opening data like:
Monon 16:
X2615%0.0.5417.33689 (2014-10-31 18:42:58Z)MONON-2 The Hoosier Line <unknown>™mýâÅш‰F4Æ×TaFtF4ÆêTaFVE:\Miniroutes\Monon-16
Monon 17:

When I try to restore the saves when ORTS is connected to the Monon 17 miniroute folder, it complains that it has 'Save 2014-11-02 7:33 PM found from a route with an unexpected name "MONON-2 The Hoosier Line."' It shows a list of such files.
Alternatively, when I try to restore when ORTS is connected to the Monon 16 miniroute folder it complains that it has 'Save 2014-11-02 6:06:55 PM found from a route with an unexpected name "MONON-2 The Hoosier Line V 17."'

The problem may arise from different text string lengths in the route name when it is saved and when it is read back and compared with the current route - (note the comment "<unknown>" in the header of the .save file for the Monon 16).

This may be related to the older problem with the Surfliner 2 route that had an extra space within the quotes in its .trk file (see the topic "Activity fail - Surfliner 2 - HT_Amtrak_14" . It was reported as a bug some time ago.
