Just Driven the 1f16 09:15 Euston to Liverpool on the Thames Mersey route using Open rails X2397.
Approaching stafford and Runcorn a Activity event pops up saying signal failure stop at signal and request permission off the signalman.
But the signal is ok not greyed out as in MSTS so you do not have to stop as required as the failure isn`t showing up on open rails

So this should be added to the TODO list to get to release 1.0?

I don't think we should add such a thing to 1.0. It would just delay further the release without much benefits. Also, there is no one to implement it actually... It is much more important to get to 1.0 than implementing such a marginal feature.

As has already been mentioned in the thread about Where Are We Now, the more we try to make OR 100% compatible with MSTS, the further away the release of version 1 becomes. We should be concentrating on fixing any bugs that prevent OR from approximating MSTS. Failed signals is not one of those earth shattering things. Activities will still work without it. There are many MSTS activities that do not work in exactly the same way in OR due to the differences in pathing and signalling logic, but solving those little niggles should not be stopping version 1 from being completed.
