Gentlemen,
Since about X version 2590 I only get a crash/grey screen when starting the MEP LAD-York to Kings Cross Steam Special with the message" Index was out of range". See attached log file. This activity worked perfectly with versions prior to about X2590. Could it have anything to do with the "Warning: Not sufficient track to place train 48" message or the "Warning: Start position of front of train 6 not on route" message? If so, how do I find out which services train 48 and 6 are?
Any help would be appreciated.

Not run that one for a while, so I tried it using X2604. No problems with the start and so far no AI problems. I have made no changes to the route since installation as a mini install.

Compared your log with mine. You are using a different engine, but that should not make a difference, basically the same as the original. The difference comes after the various eng file warnings, I get Run AI:05:00 06:00 07:00 but you get Warning: Start position of front of train 6 not on route, and when I look at the list of AI for that activity on the dispatcher page, there is no AI #6 running, likewise with the #48 mentioned later.

Thank you copperpen for testing your version for me. It must be due to some changes I made to the activity that I will have to look into. Strange that it ran OK until a short while ago but not now. Do you know how one identifies which AI services 6 and 48 are?

Brian,
can you tell me where I can download the player train engine used in your activity, together with its cabview?
Can you check if you have the problem with release 2596? I suppose the crash has no relationship with the superposition of trains.

Brian,
no more need to get info from you. I was able to reproduce the crash.
Release 2606 should have solved the bug you reported.

Carlo,
Thank you, the activity now runs as intended with X2606.
