FYI. I have substituted a non-AI locomotive i.e. without a hash in its name - it was an A3 - in the consist but the same thing happens, it just crawls along.

Yes, the AI train is just coming to a stop, waits a couple of seconds and then crawls away slowly.
Unfortunately not, they are only on the SCP DVD.
There must have been changes between X2535 and X2536 which addresses AI trains starting at speeds greater than 0.

Thanks. Could you provide me also the .act file and the .srv file of the problematic train?
Is that loco used also by other trains in such activity?

I tried inserting the physical .eng parameters of your loco and cars in the scotsman train, but I wasn't able to reproduce the problem.

Unfortunately I am not allowed to upload .act nor .srv files.
The problem only started with X2536.
No, A4 60031 is only used at the start of the activity.

Pls. try replacing within OR release 2573 runactivity.exe and runactivityLAA.exe with the ones zipped here (after having backed up the original ones). If it does not work, I don't have other ideas without having access to the complete trainset and activity files.
Attached File  Runactivities.zip (1.06MB)
Number of downloads: 196

Unfortunately nothing changed, it still crawls along.
The changes in code from X2535 to version X2536 must have caused the problem as it only started in X2536 with the change for AI trains starting with speeds greater than 0

You might send them in a PM then. It is quite weird asking for fixing something without providing the details. Copy protection forbids only sharing in public, not in private.

Thanks Peter,
yes, it is a bit so.
Fortunately in the meantime I was able to download the activity from UKtrainsim, but it could not be sufficient to understand what happens. Is the route also downloadable there or somewhere else?

I will gladly send the .act and .srv files requested in a PM if you could tell me how to send a PM but I still think the problem lies with the code changes implemented in X2536. I have tried a self-made activity in the Mersey route where an AI stops at a station and then starts with a green light. This AI also restarts and then crawls along.

Brian,
I could download .act and .srv files from the UKTS site this morning, so, no need more of these files. Like you, I created an act with the same behaviour of the non-working one, using a Scotsman trainset modified with the .eng and .wag parameters you sent me. Unfortunately the train works correctly. So the OR problem seems to arise only with the original act trainset. Without getting all the trainset files needed I can't go further.
I know that the problem lies in the code changes you mention, but I can't know in what part specifically.
You have a PM from me.

I hope I have fixed it in release 2576. I say I hope, because I saw the problem only using the build downloaded from James' site, while building here OR the problem didn't occur.
