Yesterday evening i've tried my timetable activity, with the newest OR that time, and it worked. Today i've updated (around 14:00 GMT+1) and tried again, but the game not loads, and waits forever, while using the CPU. In timetable mode, the pre-run phase (or what's the name of that phase where the game runs all services from the start of day to the current time) does not start at all (i don't see the timestamps in the log).

I've tried the same route with a normal activity, and the same happened, then i tried with explore route: with some paths the game loaded, but again infinite loop with other paths.

In log everything is normal.
Now i've tried the last supporter release that is from that time when the game worked correctly, but same happened... infinite loop.

I've reverted all of the MSTS content changes that i made in the last 2 days, nothing helped...

What is this? Can i detect the infinite loop with visual studio debug mode?

incidentally i tried a path that have two versions, one with passing paths, the other is without passing path, except these they are exactly the same. The one without passing path load, the other isn't...
And same happens with other paths, while i used these paths before without any problem...

The problem occurs both with "Use location linked path processing" on or off.

Ok so i couldn't remember correctly which version worked, so i've downloaded v2550 and the path works, but not in 2554 or 2600, so the problem appeared with these commits:

2554 StefanPaitoni Link activation between ActivityEditor and RunActivity
2553 StefanPaitoni Link activation between ActivityEditor and RunActivity
2552 StefanPaitoni New panel in Option Window with a properties form. Config Generic AuxAction

I had a similar problem. I went back to v2550, and things loaded fine.

Have you this problem in a MSTS Basic route ?
Or, where can I get an activity with this problem...

Thanks

Stef

As i wrote, the problem is not depend on route, but happens is there is any passing path defined in used paths.
I made short path for marias pass, with a passing path.
Attached File  infiniteloop.zip (559bytes)

Hello,

Could you, please, check if you have some files ended with "*cfg.json" in your route path ?
If so, please remove them....
If you could re-test and give me a feedback ? Have you this problem with a basic MSTS routes ? Or with a route that I can download easily ?

Regards

Stef

Hi,

Part of the code was commented by mistake in RouteSubpath code through compiler switch...
I can now load the 'infiniteloop.pat'! Could you have a look ?

Is it good for other activities ?
