Hello,
version X2402 crashes on restore after save if any saved train has an engine with automatic gearbox.
The crash occurs because the restore tries to restore the gearbox controller - which does not exist as it is an automatic gearbox.
See attached log-file.

The engine used for testing was a French type X4500 DMU. Sorry, don't remember where I downloaded this unit.

Hi Rob,
I have an X4400 DMU installed that I know came from TS.com, if that is of any help.
Also, there´s another thread about crashes when trying to resume a save, though no info yet on the type of stock (transmission) yet. I´ll ask.
Cheers, Markus

All,
First, the engines with manual gear box do expose the problem as well.
Second, the issue was introduced with revision #2381/2382 "Rolling stock loading process reorganization" (everything was OK at #2380). I attach another log file to illustrate (I got it with rev #2382 while back tracking the problem, but it is still there at rev #2419).
It seems that it was logged as #1357719 by Carlo.
