In those cases where OR crashes to the desktop, presumably the cause is unlikely to be recorded in the Open Rails log file. Is the Microsoft data log of any assistance to the OR developers?

A crash dump/minidump (.dmp) might be useful but they're not always easy to analyse from another computer.
