Hello Everyone,

I am curious if there is a way to change the initial focus point of the OR external camera from focusing on the front coupler of the consist to more like the center of the first piece of rolling stock? Then for every change either forward or backward it will stay focused on the center of the cars or locos.... granted the coupler focus is great for switching, but I must admit I like to railfan my trains from the external camera while in motion!

Thanks in advance for any and all help!!

Kevin

You can use the arrow keys (I think - otherwise look in the F1 help) to pan around the camera, if that´s what you´re looking for...

Cheers, Markus

The current camera view, far as I know do not allow for repositioning of a camera to a different viewpoint of a vehicle. There is however an ongoing discussion about camera sets for different roles within the sim,http://www.elvastower.com/forums/index.php?/topic/24389-camera-sets/ for possible future inclusion in OR.

Have you tried holding down the right mouse button and moving the mouse? In combination with the arrow keys, it seems to move the camera location.

Cheers,
Sid
