Looks "a little" low in weight, which could cause loads of wheelslip, and thus reduced traction. Try something "more prototypical", say 20t.

Ahhh, understood. Over here a motorcar refers to a rail-wheeled motorized "cube" that's, oh, ~170cm long. Capacity for two persons. Used for track inspection work.

There's an MOW pickup truck at Trainsim.com, perhaps you could try downloading that and comparing the values in the .eng file?
