Awesome high quality shots Tim :) .

I for one, am very pleased to see you with full steam ahead again :good:.

Regards Claus

Thanks, Claus. They're still not up to your high graphic excellence, but I'm pretty happy with how this new card is rendering OR. As per your request, here's some shots around the Defiance roundhouse for starters, on Steve's Green Creek & Defiance layout (under construction). Click to expand for bigger pics.

This one I added clarity and 8 ticks of fade correction to bring out the weathering textures.

That's probably all I better post for tonight.

Colourful scenes from the ancient and long forgotten MSTS. Officially declared dead every other day, but somehow, even in its afterlife, it still looks pretty much alive to to me.

Regards Claus

Surely not that ancient? Isn't that SLI's Green River Sub. I suppose it does look a bit bare in areas but not dead. With a cunning camera angle and a bit of extra detail it is not half bad.

Anyway, from one to another - no story needed, but every picture tells one...

I am really enjoying this thread as it is bringing out some of Train Simmings best photographer's, like Rod above and Claus above him in the thread and of course Tim Muir. :thumbup3: to all of you for providing some visual enjoyment.

Rod

G'day Rod,
Great shots mate. Would you mind telling me please where you got the vegetation from in the last 3 or 4 photos ? Is it Russian or from a German freeware pack somewhere? Oh, I'm also really enjoying the Majestic Falls screenies!
Cheers
Damo

Hi Damo - thank you on the shots - I think the veg is from the German site. It is about 2 years or so since I got it - will have to search through my links, but some others here use it and they may be able to answer quicker than I can :)

Will pm as soon as I can find out (BTW picked up your message at Trainsim too.)

Thanks also on my friend Mark's route :thumbup3:

I don't know what this is all about -- and frankly it need not be discussed as whomever understands already understands and it is not anyone else's business to gossip about.

I've advised Claus I would prefer to leave his account open until such time he is able and interested to return to our community.

IN the meanwhile please make note of the fact that NONE of Claus' screenshots were uploaded to our server... they're all someplace else. And so if anything about their present location is changed... poof, they're gone and there isn't anything I can do about that. Should "poof" happen I'll have, oh, maybe 800-900 posts with dead links to cull which will not make Dave a happy admin... not to mention the loss to the community of such fine screenshots.

Which is why I'm not so happy about you guys always using 3rd party image hosts.

We're sorry to see you go once more, Claus. Hopefully you'll return some time in the future.
