Somewhere between X2173 and X2186 the ability to produce correctly rendered body of water was lost. After X2173 the water image is not stable as the 1 shot/second sequence shows (Water X2186.zip). The static shot is from X2173 and the water image is stable. When the player train is moving in X2186 this phenom appears worse, rendering of the river has gone from steady to extremely jumpy. There is another thread about terrain missing, can this have a connection? The only change I can find documented that may relate is about the model-instancing-feature in X2176.

2176 http://www.elvastowe...ancing-feature/ Fix for certain shaders (half-dark, dark-shade and full-bright) not working with instancing. Fix for night-only sub-objects (such as streetlights).

No experimental boxes checked for these shots. Is this known? Should I file a bug?

Water X2186.zip is 28 sequential shots taken at 1 second intervals, in X2186

EDIT: :sign_oops: - I guess this is already been discussed here - How did I miss that? ;)

return Math.Sign (x.RenderPrimitive.SortIndex - y.RenderPrimitive.SortIndex);

Committed in X2188.
