Hello Claus,

A huge amount of gratitude from me goes out to you for the very realistic looking sky texture that you created for OR. Just curious - Do you have any more sky textures for OR in the works? I highly recommend your sky texture to any OR user as the texture enhances the realistic look of OR. Thank you also to Max for bringing to my attention about the sky texture available to download from the Miscellaneous sub-forum of the Scenery Items for the Route Builder section of the Elvastower File library.

Hi Walter, and thank you so much for you kind comment :bigboss:. And yes, I have several new OR sky textures just about ready for upload to the F/L. Before they hit the F/L, I need a final quality approval from Max and Tim.

Regards Claus

Hello Claus,

Thank you for your message.

Can you please provide some information to the Elvastower community and me regarding how you make the textures compatible for use in OR?

You're welcome Walter.

I will try to make a simple and easy "how-to" on the subject :bigboss:.

Regards Claus

Allow me to add my thanks as well. It really makes a big difference.

Unfortunately I have not so far had such good results from the "use msts environments" option.

Claus, I don't think I ever replied about how the new OR sky texture improves the OR itself. Looking forward to whatever else you have in the works.

Still the sky textures look distorted in game :\ It's like a creasy sheet of paper.

Unfortunately you are absolutely right :oldstry: . I have been experimenting a lot with different sizes of PNG's and the sizes of cloud images, but the problem persists.
Maybe the cloud textures should be arranged in a different way. Neither way, I will continue my venture into the making of skies.

Hi Claus,

Do you know how to slow down the animation of the clouds in OR?

Yes, you just click the pause button :oldstry: :lol2: :wtf01: :D :D , sorry Walter, I couldn't help it.
I have no idea, maybe you should ask James or one of the other developers.

Regards Claus
