I'm reporting this here instead of the bug tracker because the report appears to be experimental code goofing up long-stable code.

Options, Video Tab has ViewingDistance(), current value of 10,000. Run OR, switch to camera 8, move camera, take screenshot.

All objects that should be visible in the distance at camera tile +2 are not being displayed, even tho they are well within the ViewingDistance() value.




Returning to the options screen and going to the Experimental tab... ExtendObjectMaximumDistanceTo Horizon(). Toggle this from no to yes. Run again and everything in the distance displays as it should. Toggle it to No and the original problem, above, reappears.

So there seems to be something about this experimental code that's goofing up the ViewDistance() parameter, returning the software to the default distance of Camera Tile +1..
