I have OpenRails loaded on two different machines. Suddenly on this machine running the Contrib.ContentManager.exe yields a rather empty box for which the left hand list box just shows:

-Content Manager (Root)

and nothing else. The other machine works ok and displays the whole list of routes/eng/etc.

Why would this happen?

If the machine showing the empty list has all the installation profiles defined in OR itself, I don't know. If they have been lost/removed, then that would be why.

I have also this empty list.
What means "Installation profiles" ??
I have the MSTS installed on a separate Partition E:
MSTS in Folder E:/MSTS
ORTS in Folder E:/OR_X

In the OR menu, at the top, there's a drop-down of installation profiles you have configured. Running Contrib.ContentManager that goes with OR should list the same entries in its tree. (It works here.) If you have not configured the installation profiles in the OR menu then Contrib.ContentManager has nothing to list.

Edit: P.S. I don't really want to provide any kind of support for this because it is an experiment and not an official part of OR.

Hmmm.....what I did was to press the [Edit] button (Menu.exe) just opposite the Installation profile: pull down menu, pressing [Ok] from the popup window seems to fix the problem. Next time I will be a little more astute and see what file(s) are touched that fixes the problem.

I still think it is a useful utility.
