I always thought the L&PS was one of the most realistic looking routes ever created in MSTS. To this day, there are very few routes that come close to its level of care and detail. It only got better when I started to run it in Open Rails.

It is an absolutely beautiful route!
But, back to working on Rutland RS1s.

While on the subject of 4th generation GE widecabs...
They disappeared for several years...and now they're back!
With traffic volumes rising, MSVR's AC4400CW and C44-9W pools are being touched up and returned to service alongside the units that temporarily sidelined them.
C44-9W 901 leads GP9 3100 on a transfer to Dunkstown Yard.

AC4400CWs 559 and 577 bracket C44-9W 913 on a westbound manifest.

Despite the clean paint jobs, both AC4400s are actually due for overhauls soon.

As we return our most familiar units to service, we have begun diffrentiating between our classes of widecab GEs with paint jobs. Our entire AC4400 fleet, about half of which is painted already in our 20 Years scheme, will be recieving the logos as they rotate through the shops or are brought back. Our C44-9Ws retain the iconic otter logo that they debuted in, and our ES44ACs have just plain maroon, black, and gold with no special decals (that being said, the ES44 fleet also has the largest number of specially painted units).

A what if scene on the Mountain Division. RYSJ(Rigby to St Johnsbury). Made it as far as Frankenstein Trestle before stalling out. 7 GP40's and 82 total cars, of which 20 were empty.

Crazy, I need to redo the grades, Back in the day, Maine Central could make it up into Crawfords at a hauling speed of 3mph, with 80 cars, and a mix of locomotives of GP7's, GP38's, U18B's, and sometimes RS11's.

3 MPH with DC units?! :pleasantry:
How did they make it not to blow up the traction motors...?
Cheers, Markus
