I can understand why these effects would be difficult to avoid - the additional processing would likely undo most of the reduction of processing time. But it shows the instancing is not flawless.


It's fixed in X2480 and I doubt you'll notice any change in performance from the fix.

I have not tried this feature in a very long time, as mentioned, on an ATI/AMD setup, performance for instancing is far worse with it enabled as opposed to not. I will have to try again to see what happens.
