Hi,
Does the Cablight work in Open Rails if so what are the keyboard keys to turn the Cablight on?

Regards Geoff.

Yes, it works, but the standard key combination eludes me now... you can, however, easily find out by looking it up in the options/keyboard tab or in-gmae in the help window (F1).

Cheers, Markus

The L key is correct for the Cablight as I have confirmed although the key list calls it a Control Light.
I downloaded the new OR steam locos from vm15.hu and made a Nightcab which works.
I made a Cablight folder with the day aces in it and it does not work with the L key.
Any body interested in testing this the download page is here

http://vm15.hu/download.php?list.66

I rather like these locos.

Regards Geoff.

The reading of cablight folder was commented out by Chris some time ago (year, or so).

OK from my testing using OR X.2023 it appears that the cablight works on diesels and electrics but not steam locos.

Regards Geoff.

I'm sorry, answering to the preceding question, I meant the cablight textures folder. Cablight itself works, by modifying the view parameters, but dedicated cablight textures aren't loaded.

It would be interesting to know why.

Hi GPZ,
Thanks for the explaination how CabLight works in OpenRails.

On all the Steam locos I have tested it still seems to me that CabLight does not work on Steam locos.

Regards Geoff.

Hi,
So am I correct in saying that the CabLight does not work on Steam locos in OpenRails?

Regards Geoff.
