I have recently been playing through all the Activities on the Severn Valley Railway route and a number of things were uncovered, a few of them down to OR. It has become apparent that to get to the bottom of the problems it is often necessary for members of the OR team to own the route. Is there any list of preferred routes that the OR team know they are in a position to investigate if required?

No, there isn't.
General (i.e. not route-related) errors will surface sooner or later anyway.
For route-related problems it obviously helps if the developer has that route, but there are ways of getting enough details even without that, allthough that does take a lot more time and effort.
