Hi,

I did some trials with different diesel locos and mafe the following Observation: When I used the F5 display the indication of the RPM in the HUD was not always correct. Sometimes you see that the Systems forgets one notch (especially for engines with 15 notches. E.g. when I have 100% throttle the indicated RPM is related to 94% which is one notch less.
Also for the DASH9 with a Maximum RPM of 900 RPM the RPM indication for 100% throttle is 880. In this case I did not find a clear relation to a "forgotten notch". As well small RPM steps e.g. related to throttle steps of 1 or 2 % are not always shown. Maybe a rounding issue.

I just ask the forum if anybody has observed already similar effects. I regard this ehaviour as a minor issue since tractive force and tractive power are calculated correctly.

You must be using an older version, I discovered that bug while working on the exhaust emissions, and it's been corrected, try a newer version, you should see the RPM's climbing to the maximum rated rpm.

Hi Robert,

thanks for the fast reply.

I forgot to mention that I use the experimental release X.1955.
I use now the new X.1975 and it works well.
