I don't know if anyone have the same experience as I have with #3 Rear of Train. When I hit the key #3 and watch the train with EOT shaking in camera. I wonder if the problem is with the EOT device that makes shaking or something else with #3 Rear of Train.

The EOT is coded as a very light wagon, so it will shake and shimmy. Same happens in MSTS. I usually move the view one wagon forward which gives a steady view.

Thanks for the tip Copperpen. Next time I will move the view one wagon forward so the camera with #3 will not shaking in simulation.

May I ask what kind of EOT you are referring to? :)

Cheers, Markus

The EOT device is a box that is hung on the last car of a train. It has the flashing red required as the marker plus a chunk of electronics that communicates with the cab. I think that the later versions are also connected to the train air pipe and can activate the brakes from the rear of the train at the same time as the engineer activates the brakes from the lead engine.

Sorry for being unlcear... that info I already knew,

I was rather talking about the EOT in OpR, as has been mentioned above.

Sorry Markus. The MSTS/OpR EOT device here is a separate model that is set up as a very light car and added to the end of a train. The light weight is what causes the wiggle-waggle dance in the #3 view. It is also a useless item when switching because you can never drop your last car and then proceed along to the next location. Designed to replace the Lights section of a wag file.

Ah that´s it. I was already thinking OpR hadthe capabilities or provisions for real EOT functionality to be implemented...

:) for the clarification though :)

Cheers, markus
