Earlier today I finally got the latest version of Open Rails program working on my desktop with Windows 7 SP-1 64-bit. I don't know if my message similar to someone else have posted before. OK my question is when I picked one activity in night time and inside the cab of the locomotive are not light like speedometer and other consoles are in dark. Is there a fix or I have to change in Options Menu??

Your help would be appreciated!

John

It depends if your locomotive has or doesn't have the NIGHT folder on the cabview folder. Otherwise I believe that in OR it doesn't really matter, just as long as you press the key "L", you'll get light on the cab at night for sure. :)

Got it working and thanks for the tip. I am learning alot with this program after used Microsoft Train Simulator for a long time. Also am happy that my desktop can run this program with no problem especially with graphics too..

Thanks for your encouraging word about this. Did you see my other message about " Milepost in Track Monitor " here in this message forum?

I also noticed that loading separate cab light textures by CABTextureManager in MSTSLocomotive.cs was commented out by Chris in r1323. I would be curious of the reason.
