I know this is way in the future of Open Rails but if and when there is an Activity editor made I was thinking it might be nice to have the locomotives and cars categorized by Railroad along with what type of car it is. Reason being there are so many cars that people have now that its hard to scroll threw every locomotive and car just to find a specific car that your looking for. Im sure there are many other ways we could improve a New Activity Editor but this is just a start of a new idea I had.

Over on TS, there's a consist building utility called "Yardmaster" which does that.

Train Store can be set up to unstore rolling stock in any configuration you wish uising Lists.
