Yesterday we had a very satisfying MP session with 6 players using rel. x1930 and the LAA version of runactivity. We had a subsession of 1h40min without a single crash, featuring a dispatcher and an assistant that both also run their train, and a second subsession on another route where I left after 40min again without problems. Thank you to all the developers for the fine work of adding so many reliability improvements!
However we discovered that MP OR lets caymans fly! "Cayman" is the nickname of the powerful Italian articulated loco E656; the loco has even a small cayman drawn on its side, see at the left of this picture from site www.e656.net

Well, I had a parallel run with another player using my Cayman-pulled train on a double-track route, and here is what the other player saw:

You will see that only the wagons of my train (on the right track) are on the tracks: the Cayman is flying a bit far away quite above and right of the track. Also the dispatch window shows a strange situation.
During the session I noticed that quite often there was some player who did not see part or all of the engines of the other trains: maybe they were flying far away?
Any idea about what could be wrong here?

Have you seen this effect in earlier version?

I have seen this happen with Allen Norton's 3751 model, with amusing results (unless you are trying to shoot a video, of course).

Tim Muir's NP 2-8-0 No.485 and No.487 do this as well.

Cheers Tony :sign_welcome:

Strange thing however is that I saw my loco correctly on the tracks. It is the other player in the MP session that saw my loco flying.

I'm not sure if it can be related, but I have a car that shows up some error on the log files which one I don't understand, and although it does show the car correctly when I'm driving the train either while I'm in the cab or just seeing the train outside, if I move the camera on the 8th view to very away from the train, usually the car starts flying and causes some trouble on the train's acceleration/braking... I tried save, exit and load and the car was again "normal" but yet if I move the camera away from it, the same would happen...

Yesterday we had again a very nice MP session with 9 people. Problems about incorrect train positioning are still present.
Here
Attached Image: sdf.jpg
is where another player saw me (my name: Client).
Moreover in that session some (or all?) of the clients did not get the correct position of the server train. The server train moved along the route and correctly saw the other trains, but it was seen by others as always being at its initial position.

By the way here a small video from yesterday's MP session
